What is Meditation ?

Human beings were always conscious towards their body early from the early phase of their evolution. They were always concern to protect themselves from illness.

History of Meditation


According to great famous saint of India, Saint Patanjali developed meditation is an
"A self-directed practice for relaxing the body and cheering the mind." Most meditative techniques have come to the West from Eastern holy practices, particularly India, China, and Japan, but it can be realized and found in all cultures of the world. Initially, the major purpose of meditation has been religious, although its health benefits have long been standard. It is now being further explored as a way of sinking stress on both brainpower and body.

Meditation is a order in which one attempt to get away from the broken in "thinking" mind into a deeper state of entertainment or awareness. It often involves revolving thought to a single point of reference. Meditation is known as a module of almost all religions, and has been accomplished for over 5,000 years .It is also experienced outside holy traditions. Different thinking disciplines cover a wide range of holy and/or psychophysical practices which may stress different goals -- from successof a higher state of realization, to greater focus,imagination or self-awareness, or purely a more comfortable and passive frame of mind.

Origin of Meditation

The word meditation initially comes from the Indo-European source med-, meaning "to measure."From the source med- are alsooriginal the English words mete, medicine, modest, and moderate. It entered English as meditation through the Latin meditation, whichfirstly indicated every category of mental or brainexercise, then later evolved into the more explicit means "contemplation."

Eastern meditation technique have been adapted and ever more adept in Western way of life.

Yoga & Meditation

The yoga and meditation techniques are being implemented in supervision of master to prevent life frightening diseases; in exchange of molecular and natural piece of music in about face of mental illnesses, to speed up culture programs, in perceptions and communications beyond the mental disabilities. Rather than these, Meditation also has many added advantages.
